So a pretty bae has sent me this and asked me is it fine or not for me to post this so lots of A.R.M.Y would see this, and i said YES OF COURSE
Anyway that’s not the point of this post. We’re not trying to pointing out your mistake, I, as an A.R.M.Y too, of course has done some of those bad points stated, and we’re pretty sure that some of you has done it as well, but it’s fine as long as you’re aware now and not doing it anymore.
The problem is, there are still lots of people out there that consciously doing and saying some of those annoying things and words.
We don’t need to pointing out again what things that we shouldn’t do. Please, please do read all of those carefully and if you’re still doing it and don’t know that it’s actually irritating, please stop it now. as you already know that it’s hurting, not just for the idol, but for the other fans as well.
And it would be lovely if you willing to share this as well by reposting or simply take the picture and share it to another social media. remember guys it will HELP A LOT.
he deadass organized his twts into landscape photos and then member photos and then finally his selfies. He then proceeded to up the emojis of his jimin videos by one increment. peak virgo antics I need to breathe
I’m assuming by “he was a Nazi” you meant he played a PARODY of Hitler in a MOVIE and in that same movie he also plays a barber who disguises himself as said Hitler parody and delivers one of the greatest anti-fascist speeches of all time.
It’s okay. It’s an easy mistake to make.
Literally where does someone come up with the idea that a Polish immigrant with heavy leftist leanings is in any way a Nazi
In fact, Chaplin was harshly criticized by the American far right for being very anti-Nazi in the period leading up to America’s entry into World War 2, and many lambasted his film, “The Great Dictator,”–in which he parodied and ridiculed Hitler–as “anti-German” and “war-mongering.” The Nazis themselves, as well as the Nazi sympathizers and supporters of the American far right, hated him.
Chaplin’s films were banned in Nazi Germany, and Nazi propaganda smeared him constantly. (Part of the smear was claiming he was Jewish–which he was not, but calling someone Jewish in Nazi Germany was guaranteed to inflame public sentiment against them.)
Chaplin was concerned with social issues like homelessness, and was a liberal and an anti-Nazi at a time when to be either one (let along both) was to be accused of being a Communist–which at the time was pretty one of the worst things you could call someone–and indeed “anti-American.” (Because, again, American conservatives loved them some Nazis–right up until the time Hitler’s forces started invading other countries–and even then, the bulk of the US thought we shouldn’t “interfere” in what they saw as a strictly European affair.)
Even after the war, and even after the world realized the despicable things the Nazis had done, Chaplin couldn’t shake the “Communist” and “anti-American” accusations from conservative American “journalists,” politicians, and others on the far right, who were still angry with him for his pre-war anti-Nazi sentiments.
And when he refused to participate in the McCarthy’s “Red Scare” Communist witch-hunts of the early 1950s, he was banned from re-entering the United States, while on a trip to England.
In short, Chaplin’s ANTI-NAZI leanings made him so many enemies in the US that they set off a chain of events that eventually saw him kicked out of the country. Oh, sure, the US finally issued a formal apology and invited him back, but by that time, his response was pretty much, “Yeah, too little, too late.” And justifiably so.
Chaplin stood against everything the Nazis stood for, and was smeared and punished for it.
So don’t you fucking dare call Charlie Chaplin a Nazi.
Dishonor on you. Dishonor on your family. Dishonor on your cow.
So I’ve seen a lot of people mentioning these photos lately where we see the sun and moon all over BTS and Bighit SNS as though these might be clues on the comeback:
I think someone even made a comeback date theory on this which turned out to be fairly on point. However I want to delve a little more deeply into the reasons behind why BTS are always featuring the moon and sun in their content. I believe it’s down to the balance of Yin and Yang being a big part of their theme.
First, here is an image which breaks down some of the key components of yin and yang:
How do these relate? Well, let’s go through them one by one.
Positive and Negative
Throughout all of the music videos, the members have been seen to smile at strange moments and look sad at others.
Sometimes, their emotions are not what you would expect at all…
This is because they are filled with a massive spectrum of emotions throughout their journey. Some happy times, some dark moments and many in between. This is perhaps the biggest theme of the MV story, positive and negative go hand in hand. You can’t have one without the other.
Sun and Moon (Day and Night)
There are countless appearances of the sun and the moon in the MV’s. Some are more symbolic appearances, in the form of these blue and yellow ‘orbs’.
Some are far more obvious:
and sometimes…
They come together (like this scene from the Come Back Home MV):
Again, this is because they are trying to show that you can’t have one without the other. You can’t have the Yin without the Yang.
Light and Dark
They’ve used light and dark in almost every MV I can think of. Sometimes they do the contrasts clearly. For example, look at this very similar scene from Singularity where Tae is in the light and the shadows surround him, it’s almost in direct contrast to the following scene from Fake Love, where Jungkook is in the shadows surrounded by light.
However, they usually show this contrast with yellow and blue…
I could provide hundreds of examples of this, but it would make this post way too long. Here are just a few. Airplane and Daydream…
In these scenes Jungkook’s actions are mirrored in the MV, one version in darkness, another in the light. Honestly go back and watch any of the Love yourself MV’s, you will (if you haven’t already) notice so much yellow and blue.
A Few more Yin/Yang relationships shown…
Heaven-Earth
Which is honestly referenced a lot in the MV’s, moreso in Blood, Sweat & Tears.
Active-Passive
The mirroring of these scenes shows Jin used to be passive in their lives, but knowing and loving them, being a part of their lives… that made him feel the need to be active and do something to change their tragedies.*Click here* to read more on my theories about Jin and his time travel.
Fire-Water
The fact that two of the key members have tragedy based in both water and fire elements shows that no matter who you are, how you live your life, what your issues may be, you may still have dark times.
Above-Below
There are several moments, especially in Fake Love, where they use clever camera angles to give the idea of above/below. Here we see the camera pan between Jungkook (who is doing better) above Jimin (who is low, because he is in the darkest point of his struggles).
Heat-Cold
There are several moments that come to mind for this, however Spring Day jumps out. They sing about the cold winter ending, while walking through what seems as though it could be a dry, arid, maybe even desert environment, that is covered in snow.
Generation-Growth
Throughout all of the MV’s we have watched their characters grow up and mature into intelligent young men. Men with problems, issues and heartbreak. But we’ve also seen they can be men with happiness, brotherhood and love. In each era, another generation of BTS comes forward.
So the Yin and Yang is heavily apparent. Plus let’s face it, when it comes to this topic, nobody does Duality better than BTS.
All jokes aside, what does it all mean? Why have they used Yin and Yang so heavily throughout the MV’s? What are they trying to say?
Well, my previous theory was that ‘Answer’ would be about loving yourself being the Answer. That we would see them realising they had to love themselves before they can love others. And while that may be true, I think it goes a bit deeper than that.
It goes beyond simply ‘you should love yourself’ and lands in ‘you should love yourself even in your darkest moments’. Find the Light in the Dark.
This is because, as with Yin and Yang, as with day and night… they are all connected. You can’t have the happiness without first having the struggle to make you savour those happy moments. This is a message that comes straight from the boys hearts. It’s a realisation that they have had in reality and which they have spoken about in many interviews/videos. It’s a message they want to project into their lyrics, into their music and onto our hearts. That’s why they do what they do. That’s why 1, 2, 3! and Magic Shop are ‘our songs’ because they tell us that they know life is tough, they know we may struggle… but there is happiness too and we will always find it together.

tae’s father has always been an alcoholic and an abusive parent so his mother abandoning one of her children because she doesn’t have the money or maybe her mental state isn’t that well because of the emotional and physical abuse could be a possibility
their choreography in a song called “dna” (like in the mv their mirror images are of each other)
the pic they show of tae’s mom with a baby is quite similar to the ones they always use to portray hobi and his mum
tae in stigma says im sorry my sister as well as im sorry my brother~
and how hobi magically appeared to stop tae from murdering his father like….
first off, 90% of this website is screenshots cry bout it. i dont have twitter and i posted before many ppl even caught wind of fancafe being updated NOT cause i steal translations but cause my fucking friend told me about it cause she actually has fancafe and is good at korean HELLO ?? ppl have friends outside of this hell site boo, so u want ur cred ?? shoutout to my friend tanaz for a very simple and not even word for word translation of a drunk fancafe post tht she doesnt care i wrote about !!! i’d love to link u but i cant link u to texts lol but how bout that babe! happy now?
and like i said i dont have twt many screenshots are from ig and things my cousin/friend sends me cause theyre the only ppl i know irl who also like bts and i NEVER took credit for tweets or cropped out their @ so what’s ur problem ????? literally????? who fucking credits/links tweets when the fucking persons twt is in the damn pic ? it’s just a problem tht im posting n ur not ??
when i DO repost stuff, it’s COMPLETELY credited in the caption but lemme guess i gotta click the link for u too right ? this is credited , this is too , so is this , o and this , wow ! almost like im a respectable human being who knows damn well how to credit when credit is due and u didnt bother looking through my shit ! but go head hon !
funny cause when i worked hard on a bts theory n had it stolen and rewritten word for word on twt so you’d think i know just how important credit for work is right ?? but nooo obviously my blog is TOTALLY just other peoples shit right ?? not like i make theories , or edits , or gifs , or fan art , NOPE im totally not creative at all and have to depend on stan twt for attention obviously
but n e way have a nice day of being pressed n wrong, goodnight ❤
People who provide English subtitles for videos are volunteers. They don’t work for you. Stop pressuring them for more quickly uploaded content and stop criticizing their translations.
Some of you are reblogging because you think its funny that programmers would talk to ducks. I’m reblogging because I think its funny picturing a programmer explaining their code, realizing what they did when they explain the bad code, then grabbing the strangling the duck while yelling “WHY WAS THE FIX THAT SIMPLE!? AM I GOING BLIND!”
AS A PROGRAMMER I CAN TELL YOU THAT THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT YOU FUCKING DO WE HAD TO BAN THE DUCKS FROM MY CLASSES BECAUSE EVERYONE WOULD FLIP THE DUCK OR THROW IT AT A WALL OR SOMETHING WHEN THEY FIGURED OUT THE PROBLEM IN THEIR CODE
so that’s the function of a rubber duck
^^^^^^^^^^^^^
I work at a startup and part of the onboarding package you get when you first start working here now includes a rubber duck. We also have a bigger version of the duck for the extra hard problems. Sometimes one duck doesn’t cut it and you need to borrow your neighbors to get more ducks on the problem. One time we couldn’t figure out why something wasn’t working right so we assembled the counsel of ducks and by the grace of the Duck Gods were we able to finally come to a solution. These ducks have saved many lives and should be respected for the heroes they are.
I use this for writing, actually. Explain what I’m doing and what I want to do and the different ways i can get to point B from A, as well as the different problems, amazingly working them out as I explain why I could or couldn’t the different things. I love the Rubber Duck theory.
Former programmer, can confirm. We didn’t have a duck in our office so our other programmer, who I shared a space with, used me as a duck proxy. (For the explaining, not the throwing.)
There was more than one day where I’d casually hear “Hey can you be a duck for a minute?”
