okay not to air my baby brother’s laundry but gen z is literally going to change the world. he is 11 years old and talking to me about how a boy in his class likes him and he might like that boy back and that’s okay. and he’s talking about how he knows my mom is wrong when she says mean nasty things about gay and trans people… despite having been raised by her. he is literally so open minded and understanding of things like that that even when he’s having the negative shoved down his throat he stays positive. gen z is going to revolutionize the world.

Can we take a moment and salute him!

We have an artist using his platform to bring awareness to the black community on issues that aren’t being addressed in the media, he isn’t problematic, unapologetically black, realizes hyper masculinity is toxic and isn’t afraid to talk about systematic racism.

Maybe you knew this, but the name Kafka was also mentioned in “Butterfly.” Also, in the Wings album, obviously there are a ton of bird references and the innerworkings of the minds which could relate to Crow. I love your analysis and will definitely check out your AO3 story :)

I did know about this, and it was actually the things that gave me the idea for the theory. I forgot to mention it in the opening though, so I’ll have to fix that. Thanks for reminding me!

I didn’t think about bird references and Crow, wow. This actually makes sense, and I’ll look closer into it.

Thank you for your kind words! 💜
