NEWS: BTS will be giving their speech for “Generation Unlimited” in the United Nations Trusteeship Council chamber. The Executive Director of UNICEF Henrietta Fore & the Secretary-General of United Nations António Guterres will be present. This is HUGE.
There is now a publicly accessible signbank for American Sign Language (ASL)!
You can search for ASL signs by using English key words, and if you create an account you can get more information about each of the signs. This video from the site gives some more information:

The Signbank is essentially a dictionary of signs for each of the languages. Each website was set up by a different team at a different time, and have slightly different layouts and functions.
You can see that there are some signs that are similar across languages, e.g. the sign for tree in ASL and BSL looks similar to each other, but different to Auslan, while the sign for dog is different in all three (ASL, BSL, Auslan).
Just as any other dictionary won’t teach you about how to stick words together to make sentences, these Signbanks won’t teach you the grammar of each of these languages – but if you’re learning ASL, BSL or Auslan they’re a great way to look up vocabulary!

I think about this one tweet I saw where the person expressed their disappointment about how the “ship” name for namjoon, hobi, and jin isn’t Kim Seokjin
– The venue was small so everyone got to see BTS well. They haven’t performed in concert hall of this size probably since the red bullet tour. I will fly from anywhere so see them perform here again. It was an intimate feel. My seated tickets were still close to the stage and I could see the expressions on their faces and almost look them in the eye.
– Fan chants were loud and killing it. The audience was super high energy and BTS was loving it
– The entire audience stood for the whole concert
– During the last ment everyone cheered the longest for Namjoon
– The local radio and police was playing BTS music before the concert
– The fans tried to make a wave before encore but everyone ended up just vigorously waving their lightsticks up and down, still looked cool though
– The pit seemed well behaved. I didn’t see anyone faint or be escorted out. BTS never had to tell them to chill
– The vocal line gave us lots of really nice vocal moments. Hitting those high notes
– The rapline were fierce during tear
– They did Fun Boyz, Attack on Bangtan, and Baepsae and it was super lit. Everyone was jamming out.
– Namjoon’s “I hope these 2 ½ hours were Forth Worth it to you guys”
– Namjoon thanked us for braving the rain and getting poured on and said if it’s so cold and wet how could we be so hot
– Army singing Epiphany and other lyrics about loving yourself together was so lovely
– Gummy Suga was constantly appearing. He was smiling a lot and looked really happy.
– Seokjin gave us kisses and did some funny faces and gestures
– Taehyung gave an army bomb ring to a lucky member at the end. “I purple Texas”
– Jimin gave armys hearts and the audience sent hearts back
– BTS looked in the front camera a lot and gave a lot of attention to the audience
– They want to come here again next year because of how great it was
– Fans were helping clean up trash after the concert
– There was a lot of local police to support the venue. Every kind of police on foot, in cars, on bikes and motor bikes, and even on horses
– Concert organization went pretty smoothly. I didn’t have any complications. The merch lines were long though. The staff was helpful and knowledgeable.
so glad this mess is finally over. bighit finally made the right decision to pull the song.
to the people who think that army shouldn’t have made such a “ruckus” over bts collabing with the akb guy, and that army “bullied” bighit into this decision, please do your research. this is not something that’s unfair like with the cube/hyuna/e’dawn situation. this is a situation of morals and and human deceny, something that bts stands for that the akb lyric writer does NOT.
i’m not talking about the right wing accusations, i’m talking about the fact that the akb guy has written songs – both in the past, and recently – that objectifies and sexualizes the young girls in his groups. this is not speculation, this is fact. (ex. teacher teacher, heavy rotation, that one song about the school uniforms, etc.)
if you really think bts should be associated with shit like that for the sake of the j-armies having a new song… honestly don’t even talk to me about this. army had every right to call out bighit on this, and while the stress the boys had to go through about it was unfortunate, companies aren’t going to listen to you unless you shout it from the rooftops at all angles (spamming twitter, calling the company, etc.).
i’m standing by my statement and not backing down.
