If we look back at LY:Her and LY:Tear it’s easy to see how the link to the styling from two out of four of the photoshoots links to the styling in the title track MV’s and the other two photos link better to the general theme of the album.

DNA photos – note the easy to perform in appearance of the outfits and similar style of outfits (pop art look).

Both of those two feature styling that was portrayed in the DNA MV. However the other two were very different styling to portray the theme of the album itself which if you study the lyrics and story could be stated as ‘daydreaming about love/her’.
Her photos – Note the representation of the album message and the look/outfits that are not quite as ostentatious as the DNA outfits, less likely to be ‘stage’ outfits but still similar (linen/boyfriend look).

Fake Love photos – again note the comfort level in these two sets of outfits while still looking unique and stage performance worthy (jaded rockstar look – hence Fake Love Rock MV, which is rumoured to have been the original MV/song before they made it more radio friendly).

Both of these sets of outfits are in the same style as on stage Fake Love outfits and relate strongly to the main single. However, these next two photos match much more closely with the theme and story portrayed by the album which could be stated as ‘A love that turned out not to be real/left in tears’.
TEAR photos – And again, note the representation of the album message and how these are less likely to be ‘stage’ outfits as they are quite simplistic (loose linen/cloth look).

If you don’t see the connection in this second photo to the theme of the album, look at their individual photos from this shoot, they feature words on their t-shirt like Fake and regret.

What it means for Answer…
Even though their comeback is not going to be on Korean music shows they
will still have a choreo and performance for the main single to show at concerts.
So… from this, assuming Bighit have done it in a pattern/calculated way (when do they not??) we can gather:
There will probably be two of these new LY:Answer concept photos that will relate to the comeback single. These will have been posted on the same date. These photos will feature outfits that are cool enough looking for stage performances but not too over the top to perform in, they will also likely be somewhat similar to each other in style (see DNA/Fake Love outfits).
There will be two that portray the ‘album theme/story relevance look’. These will also have been posted on the same date. These will feature outfits that would be either not ostentatious at all and therefore not glam enough to be stage outfits OR too ostentatious and therefore too difficult to perform in.
So let’s take another look at the Answer concept photos with the above in mind. First I will give you the two which are my favourite for the concept photos related to the main single.

These photos both feature young boyish looks with schoolboy/retro vibes.
The below photo has a bit more going on with the two versions and I
will come back to this shortly because it’s important.

ANSWER PHOTOS
These next two photos are much more likely to be the ones done to
portray the album theme/story, not only because they were the other two
posted together but because of the styles used in the photos, it would
be much more difficult for them to perform live in these outfits which
are particularly ostentatious (full of ruffles and more over the top looks).

I could of course, be wrong. But if we look at what they’ve done in the past, I would like to think I’m not far off the mark.
So if I’m right, those last two photos will represent the album/theme of the album, which it should be fairly easy to realise at this point, is about loving yourself. The updated table:
So what do the photos mean/represent?
I don’t want to put too much work into this section (I’m supposed to be packing for my trip right now, whoops!), so I will try and summarise my take on it real quick.
I think the E photos, if we take the ‘Love Myself’ theme of this final album, will show them breaking free from these ‘puppet strings’ to…
…put their own life/world (represented by the bubbles) first.
This will probably be shown in the lyrics and was already shown in the album intro Epiphany.
I think the S version of the photos…
…you can actually take a lot of different meanings from.
However, we have to remember that although the highlight reels, music
videos etc are all a fictional story there is a lot of truth written by
the members and portrayed in the lyrics. I think these concept photos
portray that truth. They feel like they have reached a legendary high
status (shown by the outfits that are similar to prior pop legends like
Michael Jackson, Jimi Hendrix and David Bowie).
But that status comes with it’s pit falls, like having all eyes on them at all times and having to deal with the crowds at airports (we all know Suga and V have been touched at airports and not been happy about it lately by people who can’t really call themselves army)…
Then moving onto the F concept photos (which remember, likely introduce us to the new MV):
These photos feature a bunch of climbing frames with BTS wearing boyish/retro type outfits. I think the climbing frames represent ‘navigating a difficult youth’ and the retro/boyish outfits are there because in the MV story we are seeing BTS back at the start but on a new timeline. Read my Epiphany MV theory (link) for more info if you don’t follow what I mean here. The colourful climbing frames could be a throwback to the ‘blue timeline I mentioned on my Euphoria explained post(link) too.
This leads me on nicely to the L photos which have this strange ‘tear’ down the middle of them all showing two different versions of bangtan. I mean how much more proof do you need that there are two timelines/parallel universes?
These feature black and white bangtan (old bangtan at this same point in the timeline – during their youth) and colour bantan in school uniform/youthful looks:
For me this represents that there are at least two versions of the story beginning. One version that lead up to Tear/the heartbreak/the realisation of the fake love story and that putting others first always lead to failure/pain (hence the tear in the photos). But then theres this new version of the story where Jin takes them back to the beginning of the story (at the end of Epiphany… again see my theory for that) but this time they put themselves first and love themselves because that….
is the Answer.
