no offense but idk how ppl act like bts isn’t special when they literally dedicated an entire era, two years of their career, to teaching us to love ourselves above all

I don’t think Jin’s dad or his memory is in any of the MV’s, only Jin and his memories. The latest notes mentioned his dad to show that Jin the ‘ability’ (to time hop) was passed down by his dad only in my opinion.
I think the glitch on this MV and the grey/colour are to indicate old timeline and new or current timeline in Jin’s memory. I will explain this a bit more in the post I’m working on atm though.
We have a few versions of that image with the truck. I don’t think it signals either of what you mentioned although you could look at it as him saving them all I suppose yeah. I think the glitch shows them going back next the truck because he has gone back to the start and reset everything like the lyrics in Epiphany say. Again though I will go into more detail in my post.
The mv starts with Jin sitting in a very old fashioned house (the tv , lamp stand etc give off 70s/80s vibes)
There is another Jin , most probably Jin’s father , who exits the house , then Jin is seen reading a diary. The hyyh notes state that Jin’s father was like him but made many mistakes and that he used to write diary entries.
While Jin reads the tragic experiences of his father , his father is seen grieving (because of his mistakes) next to him on the floor
Jin finally leaves the house too to think over everything , he realises that in the process of making everything “right” his father didn’t only lose himself and got stuck in the cycle but he lost the ones he loved too
Then lightening strikes and it starts raining backwards, indicating that time has again been reversed
Jin says “I want to love them” and of course he does , they’re the reason why he goes back in time , to make everything “right” for everyone but he finally confesses that he loves himself too , and he can clearly see that following in the footsteps of his father will get them nowhere , instead might leave them all more downtrodden
so he leaves the the place once and for all through the window (we can see in other mvs too Jin is always near windows which makes me think that maybe they act like time machines in this case)
His father can only watch him leave because he knows he himself will always be stuck in the limbo as he has made too many mistakes to be reprimanded
In the past because of Jin playing with past and future , time and again , he had disappeared from the picture (1st pic) they had taken on the beach in the prologue but we can see that he has reunited with his friends 😀 hopefully forever 🙂
