I just want to say to all the ARMYs/listeners watching the IDOL MV and disliking it, it is okay to not like it. We all have our own opinions/preferences when it comes to music and you have your rights…
But for those who are confused about the bright lights, colours and excessive use of a green screen in the actual music video, it is because Western listeners say KPOP music is too ‘crazy, excessive and annoying’ and BTS used that [cough cough] concept to create IDOL.
BTS also used South African dance styles and music for the foundation of the production and added Traditional Korean sound effects and beats for the layering of the song.
+ EXTRA +
– Nicki Minaj was asked by the boys themselves to feature on their track, and she answered their offer with a “Yes”, if you are an ARMY that does not like that version of IDOL then that is okay, but what is not okay is Nicki recieving hate messages because BTS asked her to rap on their song. Nicki Minaj does not deserve that kind of attention because Bangtan suggested it, please lay off of her ARMYs.
– BTS all contributed in writing the song lyrics for ‘IDOL’
– All of them are the centre of choreography at least twice, [YES HYUNG LINE STANS THEY DID GET THE SCREEN TIME THAT THEY DESERVED]
Remember to continue streaming IDOL, we are so close to 2 Million already!
