Answer:Love Myself

I’m so conflicted with the collaboration on IDOL. I feel like I’m closer to unstanning. It’s difficult because Epiphany really helped me a lot. I listen to it and read the lyrics translation whenever I’m sad. But lmao at the hypocrisy with this collaboration. And of course the thing with SB.

injincible:

yeah, the collab with n**** m**** was the final nail in the coffin for me. it’s not the first time big hit has reached out to artists who have done terrible things, hoping for them to collab with bts. i’m also tired of defending bts.

ktaebwi:

hi (๑•̀ㅂ•́)و✧ i’m updating my bts songwriting credit list so i’m looking for love yourself: answer song credit in the physical album. if anyone got sent the album already or have the song credit list in the album, i’d really appreciate it if you can leave me a message!!

hobislobster:

there are going to be people out there listening to answer: love myself and they’re going to sing “you’ve shown me i have reasons, i should love myself” at the top of their lungs and if that doesn’t say something about bts and their willingness to spread this message not only through this era, but through a large chunk of their musical career, then i don’t know what else to say to you

can I just say how proud I am of jimin’s character development?? seeing him strutting, serving face with that FAN towards the end of Idol honestly made me feel a thing?? like genuinely elicited an emotional response from me?? seeing him embracing the parts of his image that are fluid and delicate and soft and dare I say a little feminine was truthfully kind of empowering? it just seems like he’s finally playing to the strengths he once perceived as flaws. basically I’m just a proud Bi mom. 👏🏽

satellite-jeon:

YES. ALL OF THIS, YES!

Especially since we know how much Jimin struggled with his image, particularly in the earlier part of his career. And over the years we’ve had the privilege to see him really grow out of the mold and become comfortable in his own skin. I’ve seen some people try to dismiss or downplay it, saying that “oh, it’s different in Korea” or “their definition of masculinity/femininity is different from the West.” ..No, what you see in K-pop =/= the norm in South Korea.

So to see Jimin embrace who he is.. being androgynous, showing off his feminine and masculine side all at once is just so… I’m happy for him. He owns who he is, doesn’t shy away from it at all.

And honestly, this applies to everybody in the group. They all seem so comfortable of the men they’ve become and I couldn’t be more proud of them.
