me, bursting through your bedroom window with glass falling behind me: what’s made bts, and to an extension kpop as a whole, such a phenomenon worldwide is the transparency given to us. there are so many open doors for us too look into, hours of moments of them eating and sleeping that they’ve given to us a fan service. hours that every other group, artist and etc have never dared to give.

you: who

me, briskly removing my shoes and shaking fragments of glass out of them: Can you imagine how difficult it would become to hold onto a “self” when what people want most from you are the moments of your life that specifically are NOT FOR THEM? It wasn’t just what they do, we want to know what they FEEL, constantly. We demand to know but we do not want to be TOLD. The knowledge can only be “authentic” if it’s not meant for us. It would explain the scrutinization of every movement, every word, every glance.

you: why are you in my house

me, climbing into your bed and pulling your blankets up to my chin: The endless “documentaries,” vlives, self-cams, whole reality t.v. productions based soley around them, the social media – we have an unprecedented, and unprecedentedly intimate, degree of access to these people, and still what we valued most were secrets and accidents. What we want is their interiority, and when we can not have that we invented it. Wouldn’t you resent having to constantly be GRATEFUL for that grasping, rapacious love? I would

you: are you crying?

me: We want to love them by devouring them, and now we have nothing to eat but our own hearts. but yet we still keep going, seeking that small bit of intimacy allotted to us. can you bring me a hot water bottle.

This blog supports E’Dawn and Hyuna. ❤️

As hard as it maybe to some people. Idols are people too. They deserve to find love just like you and I. This post is not here to start hate. So please do not take it as calling anyone out.

How do we explain to 40+ year olds online that you can’t just end every sentence with “…” without conveying a really ominous vibe lol.

i love that this post has informed me that thousands of other people my age are terrified by totally innocuous messages from parents, professors, and bosses.

can i just say i really appreciate how the motif remains clear even with the distinctly different concepts of the two versions? being trapped in boxes with all these eyes and cameras watching and hands reaching in, having their hands restrained by strings, put inside glass displays for everyone to see. unlike the concept photos for ly: tear, the motif for ly: answer remains consistent and obvious for all the photos so far despite the vastly different styles and you can just tell a lot more effort was put into conceptualizing the album this time.
