You remember how Joon said that some ARMYs might not like this comeback?
Maybe it’s because they’re going to show what we look like from their perspective. How fucked up the industry is. How they’re just – always haunted by their fame.
oh my god is that the top of a key in the e version group shot??
it’s apparently the kind of key u use to turn a puppet??? y’all…. this directly ties into the theories about how s version individual shots reflect the boxes idols have to live in with cameras in their faces, hands reaching out to grab them, and eyes on their every move. they’d be literal fucking puppets!!! it to mention the strings that are around the hands of some of the members ..
i’m probably pulling shit out of nowhere… but uhhhh
So at the end of Fake Love MV, they get caged in that box after wearing their masks and robes, its showing how they wouldn’t show their real colors choosing to live in that cage, that box
now they are not free, they are dolls, letting whoever controls them using them as dolls (wether they are media, saesangs, netizens ,etc) cuz they chose to achieve something they want letting go of many other things, they are so beautiful but caged, so perfect but sad, getting it all but being themselves…
BTS picked up what they started with Mic Drop. All the mics and security cams pointed at them hoping for a reaction, trapped in a room.
Now, with the grabby hands and more CCTV — exact same principle. Except that the members are entirely by themselves now. And everything is getting super claustrophobic. Hence the bubbles, their only way of being able to retreat from all this intrusion.
this concept already seems quite scary. they’re in glass bubbles with flowers as if they were pieces of art ppl just want to admire n don’t rlly care about (like ishes in a fishbowl), n have cameras on them at all times (w eyes on them everywhere, anywhere, & hands always trying to grab them). moreover, one of the images shows them as dolls, as if they were controlled by something else than themselves and that they were basically the media’s pretty puppets. i can’t wait to see the next pictures to know what exactly they’re going on about …
in my high lesbian opinion i want to comment that those absolute killer leather clad heeled boots, flattering boy shorts, shimmering frilly extensions, muted rhinestone jewelry, pastel hair, buttoned wessex shoes, bodily puffy collars, checkered neons, fanned 80s fashion pants, laminated shiny neon jazzercising clothes is peak androgynous fabulous class with color themes to die for! 💦✨
secondly, no way is the stylist straight. cheers to ly answer concept pictures.
the S concept photos with the red background and how it’s showing their lives as celebrities with the cameras always pointed at them, all eyes on them and all the hands trying to reach out/control them. and the E concept photos of them in their own little bubble paradise in the middle of a desert like place. I love how these photos tells a lot of stories, it’s really nice and a bit different from the ones in Tear!
Also to add! As usual the group photos will also be the posters that comes with the LY: Answer albums. If you ordered the posters you’ll get these~
Sometimes I wonder if BTS are TRULY doing okay with the how famous they’ve gotten and the amount of attention (both good and bad) they’ve gotten. Sometimes I forget that at the end of the day, they probably feel so much pressure not just from media but even the fans. Pressure to ALWAYS be “perfect.”I feel like this is going to be suh a different feel from Tear and I’m excited!
