Well, apparently there was a problem with the arrangement of Last night’s Fake love performance at MGA, which might explain the reason for the boys not sounding all the way right. One of their produces uploaded to his instagram story the same night. (Here)
From what I gathered, the problem was with the mix engineer(s), messing up the levels to where the arrangement could not be heard at the right level, making the boys not hear themselves well through their in-ear to where they couldn’t get the right notes. That also might be why the end of the song/performance sounded weird. (Here & Here)
The fact that one of bangtan’s producers was disappointed by the way it turned out was very telling. I think a lot of people noticed something was off, it could also be why the Save me/I’m fine/IDOL performance sounded better.
Why am I sharing this? well, you probably noticed that the boys are getting quite a lot of hate right now because of this, just looking at the comments on YT below the video of the performance is.. 😩
So yeah, they faced technical difficulties and it sucks. It sucks even more when people from their own fandom no less, instead of being understanding and realizing people can’t be perfect all the time, they jump on the hate bandwagon with no mercy.
Even if everything was okay and their vocals didn’t sound good, it would be the responsibility of BH to provide them with the proper rest and the vocal training that for some odd reason, (I’m looking at you, Bang PD) has been a problem for ages.
Even the greatest people in music have performances they are not proud of, it happens. These guys work around the clock, barely getting any time to see their family and friends, we don’t even know if they sleep well, so the fact that people are just so.. Like, have some humanity for crying out loud.
As you can see where I’ve circled it red it’s there, but not named. Why one more? Why not end with Love Yourself and move onto something new? Well, their contracts tied in with this story, which they planned from the very start and it covered this one final come back. Luckily they have now confirmed another 7 year contract with bighit/bts starting after the current one, but that will be the start of probably a whole new story, not focused on youth, but knowing bighit whatever it is focused on, it will probably be pre-planned for those seven years.
Just look at that image again. Do you notice the circles and the line cutting through them all? Does it look familiar?

Namjoon was walking on that road/path during the MV. The logo/album progression image represents their actual path on the BTS journey.
Forever Rain isn’t the first time we’ve seen them walking the path or the globe/world that represents the era/part of the journy. Epiphany…

There aren’t really any in before I Need U, that’s because the first albums were the start of their youth, the start of their path. Take another look now:
Do you see how each circle represents one era, one part of their path? And look how the line/path connects between them all. That means there is one more on this story of their youth. So, if the line represents their journey/path or their growth from their youth to now, what do the circles/globes for each era represent? Well it’s quite straight forward, they represent the members lives/world at each point on the journey. And why is that important? Because it tells us something about what we might be getting next.
Remember for LY:Answer we got all those cool concept photos? The ones with the ‘bubbles’? Each member has his own little sphere, in his own little world.
And then there was this version, with the line down half their faces?
Could this represent their paths dividing as their journey continues?
RM/Namjoon has spoken multiple times about the two versions of himself. And not just in Idol, but also in Forever Rain/Mono (click here to read my Forever Rain explanation post if you haven’t already seen it), his lyrics refer back to this once again. They talk about how there are two sides to him, the Namjoon side and the RM side.
Who else does this? J-Hope/Hoseok, also in his solo album. Remember his lyrics from daydream?
My personality is like half and half who knows?
A public figure’s striving life who knows?
Abstaining from big cravings who knows?
Always breathless from daydreaming who knows?
It’s also been confirmed that each BTS member is getting a solo mixtape. In his recent V-Live
Namjoon mentioned that Yoongi’s is almost complete.
So they had this fictional story throughout all of the MV’s about their journey through their youth, but the MV’s/songs were more representative of their stage sides, RM, V, Suga etc. But now they’re growing up, maturing, figuring out who they are. They’re each getting their individual albums where they can show their real stories in the music/MV. The stories of Namjoon, Seokjin, Hoseok, Yoongi etc.
Remember Namjoon’s UN Speech?
He talked about his youth, about how far he’d come, about how he had learned to love himself, but now he wanted to speak himself. And he did exactly that in mono.
That’s where this youth path ends. With each member’s real story. With each members individual album where they speak themselves. And with one last album at the end of their youth, where they encourage us to join them.
In order to speak ourselves, we have to do as Namjoon did, we have to look back, reflect on the path we have walked. We have to grow as people by learning through our faults and mistakes of yesterday.
So that’s my prediction. The final album will be the reflection of their/our youth. The invitation to speak ourselves, just as we were invited to love ourselves. The lyrics in the songs will encourage us to speak out, tell our story, reflect on our youth and do as they have done, try to become a positive impact on our world. I wouldn’t be surprised if each member has a solo track on the next group album that is the song they feel most speaks themselves from their individual albums. Daydream or Hopeworld, Forever rain…
I also wouldn’t be surprised if it is a repackage. Treated as the
ultimate greatest hits of BTS album.

of their youth, but with one space for a final CD/album at the end.
